Commercial Image Licensing

Already found the perfect image?

A Commercial Image Licence provides schools, studios and organisations with a streamlined and cost-effective way to licence professionally created Everline imagery for marketing and promotional use without the investment of commissioning a dedicated commercial photoshoot.

Through our EverLove initiative, 20% of every Commercial Image Licence is reinvested into the featured dancer's photographic journey as an Everline Credit. By licensing an Everline image, you're not only supporting Australian creative work—you’re also investing back into the dancer whose artistry helped bring that image to life.

Commercial Image Licensing

Every photograph created by Everline Imagery is protected by the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).

When a student and their parent or legal guardian commission a personal photography session, they are purchasing the photography service and a licence for the student's personal use of the final images.

It is common for dance schools, studios and training organisations to later request permission to use these parent-purchased images to advertise or promote their own programs. A Commercial Image Licence provides a streamlined and cost-effective way to access professional marketing imagery that has already been selected for its marketing appeal, without the significant investment required to commission a dedicated commercial campaign involving creative direction, talent coordination, studio hire and a bespoke commercial photoshoot.

While the parent has purchased the images for personal use, this does not include the right for a third party to use the photographs for commercial or promotional purposes. Commercial use by a business, school, studio or organisation is a separate right and requires the purchase of a Commercial Image Licence directly from Everline Imagery. Copyright remains with Everline Imagery at all times.

What is Commercial Use?

Commercial use includes, but is not limited to:

  • Social media advertising and promotional posts

  • Website banners and marketing material

  • Student recruitment campaigns

  • Prospectuses and brochures

  • Printed flyers and posters

  • Pull-up banners and signage

  • Email marketing

  • Digital advertising

  • Promotional publications

  • Annual reports

  • Press releases promoting a business or organisation

If an image is being used to promote or market a business, school, studio or organisation, a Commercial Image Licence is required.

Supporting The Dancer

At Everline Imagery, we believe the dancers who inspire these photographs should also share in the opportunities they create.

That's why every Commercial Image Licence purchased contributes back to the featured dancer through our EverLove initiative. Twenty percent of every licence fee is issued as an Everline Credit to the original client account, redeemable towards a future Everline Imagery photoshoot.

For schools and studios, EverLove provides access to professional marketing imagery without the investment of commissioning a dedicated commercial campaign. For dancers and their families, it recognises the role they play in creating images that help inspire and recruit the next generation of performers.

By licensing an Everline image, you're not only supporting Australian creative work, you’re also investing back into the dancer whose artistry helped bring that image to life.

Everline Credits are issued to the original client account, are non-transferable, valid for 24 months from the date of issue, and may be redeemed towards eligible Everline Imagery photography sessions.

Commercial Image Licence Pricing

Licence Terms

  • All prices are per image.

  • Licences are non-exclusive and non-transferable.

  • Copyright remains with Everline Imagery.

  • The licence permits use only by the organisation purchasing the licence.

  • Use beyond the agreed licence period requires renewal.

  • Additional usage outside the agreed licence (including merchandise, packaging, television advertising, billboards or third-party licensing) requires a separate quotation.

Unauthorised Use

Everline Imagery takes the protection of its intellectual property seriously.

Commercial Image Licences must be obtained prior to publication. Unauthorised use of an Everline image by a business, school, studio or organisation constitutes use of copyrighted material without permission and may give rise to remedies available under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).

Where unauthorised commercial use is identified, Everline Imagery reserves the right to invoice the applicable Commercial Image Licence fee, seek compensation for unauthorised use where appropriate, and pursue any additional remedies available under Australian law.

Retrospective licensing may not always be available, and unauthorised use does not create an entitlement to continue using an image.

We appreciate the professionalism of organisations that contact us prior to publication and are always happy to arrange a licence that suits the intended use.

Image credit is always appreciated where practical, however attribution does not replace the requirement for a Commercial Image Licence.

Multiple Images or Campaign Licensing

If your organisation requires licensing for multiple images, an annual campaign or a bespoke commercial project, please get in touch to discuss a tailored licensing package.

Thank you for respecting the creative work, expertise and intellectual property behind every Everline image.
